With his unique coaching style and academic background in Physiology, Maqbool has produced some of the highest ranked international and national level players in the UAE.
About Maqbool
Upon completing his Masters in Physiology in 1981 turned his focus onto squash and now has over 35 years of coaching/research experience along with being one of the very few coaches in the world who specialize in the training and development of very young children (3 years onwards) in the sport of squash.
Began his coaching career in the mid 1980’s researching the impact of his theories in the fields of sports physiology, bio-mechanics, Rapid Learning Mechanisms in Children and nutrition pertaining to squash. His experience ranges from working with young and dynamic individuals to those with extreme physiological and physical challenges.
Over the past 2 decades he has conducted professional squash clinics along with ex-World No. 66 and UAE Number 1, Adil Maqbool, in various countries such as the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Egypt and the UAE.
