About Seifeldin
Seif El Din Shams is an accomplished Egyptian squash player and coach with a strong international junior background and extensive experience competing at the highest levels of the sport. Having trained at Maqbool Squash since the age of 13, Seif has developed a deep understanding of the academy’s training philosophy and is now joining the coaching team.
Seif continued his development into the professional game, finishing runner-up at the MST PSA Dubai Squash Series. In 2021, he made a remarkable 457-place rise in the PSA World Rankings in a single month, one of the biggest ranking jumps recorded on the PSA Men’s Tour.
Alongside his squash career, Seif was awarded a sports scholarship to the University of the West of England Bristol. He completed his BSc in Statistical Data Science. His combination of high-level playing experience, analytical background and first-hand experience of the Maqbool Squash training environment gives him a unique approach to coaching.
